Tässä Geraschenko koonnu Putinin "liittolaisten" reaktioita. Odotuskannalla ovat lähinnä:
It is interesting to observe the reactions and statements both inside Russia and its neighbors against the background of military actions in Russia's Kursk region.
At the moment, the situation can be called "waiting".
In popular terms - "strategic waiting". But this waiting can become a turning point.
◾️ President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev published an article on the eve of the traditional meeting of the heads of the five Central Asian states. In it, he noted not only the need to protect and strengthen the Central Asian identity, but also raised the issue of a regional security architecture where Central Asia would act as a subject unit.
The main idea is that the process of deglobalization is under way, the region is unstable, and closer cooperation is essential in order to survive the turbulence and enter the future with a strong position.
The main advantage of the region is its youth and natural resources. By strengthening the region, it is possible to convert this more favorably.
This looks like a mild distancing from the problematic Russia.
◾️ Lukashenko met with the participants of the CIS interior ministers meeting in Minsk yesterday. Not a single word about Kursk, although he clearly reacted to Tokayev's speech.
He scolded the participants for trying to distance themselves from Russia, to make money on sanctions (by the way, this is something he does himself), urged them to unite around Russia and expressed fears that if Russia collapses, it will drag everyone to the bottom.
He clearly realizes that he will be the nexr one on trial after Putin.
◾️ Kadyrov has been silent for three days. He made no comments about Kursk. He did not mention Akhmat unit which was responsible for border defense in Kursk region.
This afternoon he said that "we should wait two or three more days".
Apparently, then he decided on a reaction.
‼️So, the majority is waiting for the situation to develop and calculating their benefits. And the longer this waiting period lasts, the more dangerous and bolder thoughts will come into the minds of Putin's entourage and allies.
It's quite possible that a psychological turning point is taking place, and not just among Putin's entourage - also among Ukrainian Allies in their perception of Putin and Russia.
