Joo näin yksioikoista se tosiaan on ja tätä just tarkoitinkin. Jännä et sama jengi musertui vuosi takaperin ekasta kannusta, et kai sillä jotain merkitystä on.
Gourde:
Pat has brought a lot of leadership since joining the team: poise, calm, not too high or too low after a loss. On the ice, it’s his physical side, toughness. He wins all his one-on-one battles. He is excellent below the goal line. He’s so strong physically. You know what he brings every night and you know what his strengths are, so you try to use those to the maximum.
Pietrangelo:
He gambled on himself on a one-year deal. He knew what he could bring to a team. I think the one thing that teams who win value so much are the intangibles off the ice. He’s an unreal guy to have around the room. He wants to win and knows how. And he’s an awesome person to be around away from the rink. Everything you want in a teammate.
McDonagh:
I’d like to think they’re not coincidence. He’s got a savviness that he brings with him into the locker room, and it rubs off on guys and brings a certain level of confidence. Not over the top, but just enough to know that if you do the right things, you play to your team’s structure, you have a chance to win every night and he keeps that group, our group, pulling in the same direction. As far as leadership goes, that’s what you want.
Ei se toki Barkovilta mitään ole pois, eikä nää muutkaan suomalaiset varmaan pukokoppiin kummempaa tuo.
