Wild enforcer Derek Boogaard believes his Oct. 27 pummeling of Anaheim’s Todd Fedoruk has sent a chill through the NHL. He hasn’t had a fight since Nov. 14, he said, because "They’re scared. They don’t want to get hurt."
Boogaard should get some action tonight.
Blue Jackets enforcer Jody Shelley has seen his playing time dwindle the past couple of weeks. He has had five fights this season, only one since Nov. 9, and the big man is getting restless.
Boogaard, speaking with reporters in St. Paul, was asked how soon he’ll challenge Shelley tonight.
"How quickly will he challenge me is the question," Boogaard said.
