Kaikki paska mitä mies on Torontossa joutunut tänä vuonna kestämään on takana. Ja tarkoitan tällä Mauricen tapaa kohdella miestä.
Tässä vähän miehen kertomaa Floridaan siirron jälkeen:
"I looked up and down the roster last night and saw the guys with NTC and guys without it. I figured I wasn't one of the guys being shipped around, I'm surprised. I only played 30 games this year and it felt like a long time, it wasn't fun.
Umm,uhh, it was frustrating to watch the games from the box where I should have been in the lineup, seeing the stuff that was going on, not being able to do anything about it, to not be apart of it, to not being able to do my job. Ya, it was frustrating and I couldn't understand at times what the thought process was with that at all.
My agent spoke to Ferguson before he was let go and he wanted me back for next year and all that. Umm, then with Fletcher, the discussions weren't really about me, he was more concerned with other aspects. (So my agent) said if you had no intentions of re-signing me, then letting me go was the right choice.
I haven't talked to Fletcher, my agent called me and said he saw my name on the ticker. Then my roommate Ian White and Jason Blake walked in. I played with the Leafs for over 7 years and made alot of friends, Mats, Bryan, 'kabs' and Darcy. It's tough, you make friendships for a lifetime, it's tough, it's a business.
It's tough sitting for all that time, playing in 1 game then sitting for the next 8. It's about confidence and when I went in there and got in a fight, or did something well, I know I'd be sitting for the next few games. It's frustrating, what else was there that I could do with my job, you know? Um, I think after the Anahiem game there, I fought Parros then sat for the next 5 or 6 games, to me that's tough. I go out there and try to get my job done with so little shifts, then get TOSSED ASIDE."
WE MISS YOU WADE!
