Palffy's power-play goal gave the Kings a 3-2 lead shortly after
goaltenders Felix Potvin and Miikka Kiprusoff engaged in a
brawl.
The fight began when Sharks right wing Todd Harvey collided with
Potvin in the crease and began pushing and shoving. Harvey
tore off Potvin's mask and Kiprusoff rushed in and grabbed
Potvin from the back.
