Mielenkiintoista.. Tosi kovia nimiä ovat.
Taitavat olla ennemminkin Satorin kuin Chrisun tuttuja. Herrat ovat samassa tilanteessa kuin Staple vuosi sitten - ei sopimusta. Missään tapauksessa en pidä utopistisena ajatuksena näiden tulemista. Staple pelasi itse lähes saman verran NHL-matseja ja kyseisille herroille ei varmasti NHL:llä ole mitään uutta ja mahtavaa tarjolla. Rahaakin riittää eläkepäiviin asti, palkasta ei heidän tänne tuleminen ole siis missään tapauksessa kiinni. Eivät ole olleet NHL:ssä missään huippuseuroissa viime vuosina. Muutto Eurooppaan kovaan sarjaan tutun valmentajan (?) seuraan voisi olla hyvin kiinnostava ja realistinen vaihtoehto. Saisivat kokea vielä viimeisinä vuosinaan uutta ja saisivat vastuuta hyökätä "sielujensa syvyyksistä". No, toinenkin näistä herroista riitäisi hyvin: siinä olisi liigan kansainvälisesti nimekkäin ja ansioitunein pelaaja. Toinen voisikin tulla sitten Detroitista.

A veteran winger who uses his speed to play a two-way game, Emerson was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the third round (44th overall) at the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. In his first full NHL season in 1992-93, Emerson exploded onto the scene with 59 points. He scored at least 50 points in four of the next five seasons from 1991-96. After playing two full years with the St. Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets, Emerson settled in with the Hartford Whalers franchise in 1995. The speedy winger notched 67 goals and 95 assists while with the club from 1995-98. Emerson landed with the Chicago Blackhawks in a 1998 deal for Paul Coffey, and a year later he was shipped to the Ottawa Senators. After spending part of 1999-00 with the Thrashers, Emerson settled in with the Los Angeles Kings in 2000.

After three years with the Fighting Sioux of North Dakota this Edmonton native joined the Vancouver Canucks for the 1990-91 season. Became a member of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim when exposed by Vancouver in the 1993 Waiver Draft and went on to post career highs in the 1993-94 season when he tallied 18 golas and added 27 assists for a total of 45 points. Also played for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Valk has been a valuable checker for the Maple Leafs. Scored three goals and four assists in 17 playoff games with the Maple Leafs in 1998-99.
