Washington Postista löytyy seuraavanlainen raportti viimeöisestä Wsh-NYR -pelistä:
Some of the fans at MCI Center wondered if New York Rangers defenseman Igor Ulanov would make it through last night's game, anticipating retribution for his vicious play the last time he faced the Washington Capitals.
Ulanov received a seven-game suspension for brutally high sticking Steve Konowalchuk last month and gave star winger Jaromir Jagr a knee strain in the same game -- an injury that could linger for months -- by tackling him from behind. As it turns out Ulanov was not around to watch Washington's furious and emotional 6-2 comeback victory last night, but not because of any punishment the Capitals inflicted upon him.
Ulanov was ejected and issued a five-minute major penalty for intent to injure late in the second period when he sucker-punched Chris Simon after the whistle had blown. (The play, which Simon says he has no recollection of, will automatically be reviewed by the NHL for a possible suspension.)

Ehdotuksia...?
