Laitetaan nyt Anisimovin vastine tuolta Andy Grossin blogista nähtäville tähän väärään ketjuun syntyneeseen jupakkaan:
(9.12) Anisimov apologizes
Artem Anisimov sat at his stall and met the media for about three minutes today. The message he wanted to make clear: He apologizes to the Lightning and he meant no disrespect toward them. Anisimov said though it looked like he was shooting at Tampa Bay captain Vinny Lecavalier, he was trying to shoot at the goal.
Celebrations such as Anisimov’s in last night’s 3-2 shootout loss to the Lightning are more common in Europe and Russia. Anisimov said he was actually emulating a defenseman from his hometown club in Yaroslavl. That would be former Lokomotiv defenseman Ilya Gorokhov, ironically drafted in the eight round by the Rangers in 1995 who is playing this season in the KHL for Moscow Dynamo.
“Yes I was surprised a little bit,” Anisimov said of how swiftly and violently Tampa Bay reacted. “And I just want to say, I apologize to Tampa, I didn’t mean something by it, it’s just my celebration. When I score a goal, I want to do some unusual celebration and I say one more time, I apologize to Tampa.
“I never do this celebration again, it’s a good lesson for me,” Anisimov said. “I do some different stuff I have in my pocket, no more shooting.
“I grow up in Yaroslavl, one guy, he score goals, he’s a defenseman, and every goal he celebrates like this,” Anisimov said. “I watch him and I like it and I tell myself when I’m going to play in the NHL and I score a goal I do the same thing.”
Anisimov said his teammates were accepting of his apology to them, “We play one for all and all for one.”
