CHL:n säännöt kertovat pelin alkamisen myöhästymisestä, siirrosta ja peruuttamisesta seuraavaa:
Delay of face-off due to late arrival of away team:
– Game to start latest 40 minutes after away team has arrived at venue.
– Should a delay of more than then 120 minutes occur, the game must start latest at 21.00 (local time). If this is not possible it will be either rescheduled and shall be played within 24 hours, or on another date if possible and if agreed by all parties involved (teams, National Leagues, Infront & CHL).
– If no rescheduling is agreed the game is cancelled and will be forfeited with 3-0 in favor of the home team.
Cancellation of game:
– Should a game be cancelled already prior to face-off (e.g. technical issues of the arena, quarantine restrictions or travel issues), then the game will be rescheduled and shall be played within 24 hours, or on another date if possible and if agreed by all parties involved (teams, National Leagues, Infront & CHL).
– If no rescheduling is agreed on, the game is cancelled and will be forfeited with 3-0 in favor of the team, who was ready to play on the original date. However, should a game in the Group Stage already be cancelled prior to face-off due to COVID-19 and one of the teams involved does not have a sufficient number of players (at least 15 players and 1 goalkeeper) and if this is solely due to the fact that too many registered players from the club are ordered into governmental COVID-19 quarantine, the game will not be counted.
– The Group Stage standings will be determined by point percentage as per CHL Sport Regulations.
In any case, clubs must inform the CHL officials, the CHL game supervisor as well as the CHL Office immediately of any anticipated or occurred situation that potentially may lead to a delay, interruption or cancellation of a game.
