Mä niin odotin tätä vastausta. Mun suosikki on:
What is it with these guys from Finland? Esa Tikkanen, Jarkko Ruutu and Buffeny Ohman. Buffeny Ohman wasn't a hockey player, he was this old guy who lived in our neighborhood when I was a kid. Buffeny was from Finland and on a daily basis he would walk down to the beach and fish for snappers. He wore the same outfit every day which consisted of a pale washed out tan shirt, matching pants and an old beat fishing cap. I swear they buried him in this get-up. Buffeny was harmless. He was a weird old guy who had a strange daily ritual which never changed. Day to day, year in and year out same routine. At night you would never see a light on in any of the rooms in the two story house he and his wife lived in except for the basement light. Never any visitors. One day he just wasn't there anymore. When I would read stories about the on ice behavior of guys like Tikkanen or Ruutu, guys who in another time and place would have been tied to chairs in State Institutions all day, I think about Buffeny Ohman and then I realize that they grow 'em a little different in Finland. Tikkanen, when he was with the Rangers, was like a case of ringworm. They would get rid of him and he would reappear. 1992-93. Apply Exsil, gone. 1996-97. Apply Exsil, gone. 1998-99. Apply Exsil, gone. Will Ruutu find his way to New York eventually? If so, I have the number of a good dermatologist just in case.
