Näin kertoo NHL:n pelätyi taklaaja siitä, kun vastaan tulikin vähän jykevämpi vastustaja.....
The hits just keep coming
By KEN FIDLIN -- Toronto Sun
Scott Stevens has described it as his hardest hit of the season.
Not Shane Willis. Not Ron Francis. Neither of those Carolina
Hurricanes victims retained his motor skills in the immediate aftermath
of a close encounter with Stevens' shoulder.
No, the hit that impressed the New Jersey Devils captain most was
one he delivered to Sami Kapanen of the Hurricanes in Game 4 of
their Stanley Cup first-round series.
The reason nobody paid much attention was the fact Kapanen took
the blow, shook out the cobwebs and played on.
"I hit Kapanen hard," Stevens told reporters at the time, "and that guy
came back and played. That's the hardest hit I've had this year.
"If that kid was hurt, every reporter would have been in my face after
the game. Every camera would have been in my face. I hit that kid
harder than either of the other two and he's still playing."
