<BR>The Anaheim Mighty Ducks and the Edmonton Oilers have announced that Janne
<BR>Niinimaa and Tony Hrkac have traded a vowel for future considerations.

<BR>The vowel will go to Hrkac, who will now be known as Tony Hirkac. Janne
<BR>will now spell his last name Ninimaa.
<BR>
<BR>\"Oh heck, When I saw how badly Tony needed a vowel, I looked at my name and
<BR>realized that I had way more vowels than I really needed, so I offered him
<BR>an \"a\" for a watermelon Jolly Rancher,\" said Ninimaa (sic). But he didn\'t
<BR>like the sound of Harkac. So we renegotiated, and I ended up giving up the
<BR>\"i.\"

<BR>\"I didn\'t really have a problem with the Jolly Rancher, but Watermelon is an
<BR>extremely good flavor,\" according to Hirkac. \"He\'s still gonna get the
<BR>candy, but I also have to add a pay per view movie, some time next month.\"

<BR>\"Sometimes trades just make sense,\" says ESPN\'s Barry Melrose, \"but this one
<BR>has me stumped.\"
