Onkohan tämä nyt taas melua tyhjästä, vai onko Hurme tosiaan ulkona olymppiakuvioista:
"Lalime has received much of the accolades, as he should being the team's No. 1. But Hurme (12-4-4, 2.43 GAA) has proven the Senators made the right move going with him instead of veteran Mike Fountain, who said differently when he was cut.
Yet it now appears that Hurme, the best Finnish goalie in the world by virtue of the fact he's the only one playing in the NHL this season, is not considered good enough for the Olympics.
"I understood they have goalies (they prefer) in Finland," Hurme said yesterday when asked about a conversation he recently had with national team coach Hannu Aravirta. "I wondered why they aren't playing here."
Maybe they're too good for the NHL. Or, more likely, perhaps Aravirta is making a mistake.
Minus "Moo Moo," Team Finland might have to rely on the help of a lot of posts in Salt Lake City."
